Stay Smiling Orthodontics is excited to expand our fun-loving team. We are looking for a positive-spirited, driven, team-oriented person to join our team. We will introduce you to orthodontics through the role of sterilization and records technician and provide training so that you feel confident in your position. We will also provide cross-training for other roles in our office.

The overall job of a Sterilization and Records Technician is to ensure all departments in a healthcare facility have clean, sterile tools and equipment readily available for delivering patient care. It also involved taking quality records and uploading images into computer software.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, but no prior orthodontic experience is required
  • Traits: Positivity, hard-working, driven, team-player, motivated to learn
  • Ability to perform dental imaging and understand associated protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
  • Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must be able to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14-17 per hour

Expected hours: 32-36 per week
