Job Purpose/Importance:
The Online Nutritionist at SFIT is responsible for creating and guiding clients on their nutritional journey to ensure they achieve their fitness and wellness goals. You will provide expert advice on meal plans, eating habits, and nutritional supplements, with the ultimate goal of helping clients make sustainable and healthy lifestyle changes.

Job Challenges:

  • Handling multiple clients with diverse dietary needs and preferences.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest nutritional trends and scientific research.
  • Managing client expectations and providing consistent support to ensure they follow their plans.
  • Balancing client requests with evidence-based practices.

Hierarchy Level:

  • Entry-level role, with the potential for career progression to Senior Nutritionist or Wellness Manager.
  • Promotions are based on performance, client satisfaction, and contributions to the company’s growth.

Qualifications & Working Conditions

Education Level:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field (preferred).
  • Nutrition certificates are also acceptable.

Experience Level:

  • Experience is not mandatory; freshers are encouraged to apply.
  • On-the-job training will be provided to the right candidate.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of nutrition principles and the ability to apply them to various diets (e.g., keto, vegan, intermittent fasting).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly for virtual coaching.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients effectively.

Expertise:

  • Familiarity with fitness training and how nutrition complements exercise programs is a plus.
  • Open to learning and growing within the role.

Start to Finish Process

Time of Day:

  • Flexible start times, but must be available for client consultations during their scheduled times (may vary based on time zone).

Working Hours:

  • Expected to work between 20-40+ hours per week, depending on the number of clients.
  • Ability to set your own hours, with client sessions typically booked during business hours.

Lunch/Tea Break:

  • 1-hour lunch/tea break after every 4-5 hours of work.
  • Can take breaks in between client consultations as needed.

Travel/Accommodation:

  • No travel or accommodation is required for this role as it is a remote position.
