About the Role As a Work-at-Home Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing assistance and resolving issues via phone, email, or chat channels. Your excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and passion for delivering exceptional customer service will be essential in ensuring positive customer experiences and promoting our airline services. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to every consumer, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Verify customer registration and admission to our clubs and lounges. Complete all guest experience elements, including greeting customers by name, providing WIFI passwords, and asking how you can assist. Make and confirm flight reservations using our semi-automated business review environment (SABRE) and Qantas Intelligent Keypad (QIK). Check in premium passengers for their flights, handling tasks such as flight changes, rebooking, and passport verification. Track flights for boarding schedules, delays, or disruptions to best serve customer needs. Issue customer tickets, including day-of-departure, reissues, and future tickets. Cancel passenger reservations as requested and prioritize customers for upgrades and standby. Resolve client travel difficulties as soon as possible and escalate unsolved issues to the next level of customer service support. Record customer issues in the passenger name record (PNR) and perform club enrollment or sales operations. Coordinate services for customers with elite status, including Concierge Key and Five Star service. Assist customers with technology available in our clubs and lounges and reserve meeting rooms for same-day travel requirements. Complete opening and closing procedures for our clubs and lounges and respond to escalating customer issues or concerns. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A GED or high school diploma. The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. Bilingual language capabilities in some locations. The ability to pass an FAA criminal background check to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA). The ability to obtain proper airport authorization and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable. Exceptional customer service and customer involvement skills in a hospitality setting. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred: Previous customer service experience. Experience in the travel industry. Computer experience. Excellent organizing and administrative skills. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need: The ability to operate under pressure, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and providing excellent customer service. Strong salesmanship and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect effectively with all levels of management and the general public. A self-motivated and service-oriented mindset with a high level of professionalism. Outstanding communication abilities. The ability to work irregular and/or long hours, including weekends and holidays.
