Discovery (WBD) prepares for its next chapter, the Sr. Director, Global Transformation will be instrumental in shaping and executing transformation strategies that position the organization for long-term success. This role requires expertise in problem solving, analytics, and change management across a complex business environment. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable and a “doer”.  We work in a very dynamic and ever-changing environment.  The role requires someone who is highly motivated, flexible and resilient.</p><p>For the next 6-9 months the majority of the work will be on the separation. The role is a key member of the Separation team and will lead workstreams, manage timelines, deliverables and tracking, and problem-solve paths forward.  The successful candidate will need to get up to speed quickly on WBD’s current business and be able to hit the ground running as the separation is already well underway.</p><p></p><p><b>YOUR ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:</b></p><p></p><p><b>Strategic Transformation Leadership</b></p><ul><li>Lead and implement transformation strategies aligned with WBD’s mission, values, and the evolving market landscape.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues across business units to identify and prioritize initiatives that drive growth and innovation. </li></ul><p></p><p><b>Data-Driven Decision Making and Problem Solving</b></p><ul><li>Structure high-level and ambiguous problems soundly and develop clear insights using both qualitative and quantitative methods. </li><li>Utilize analytics and business intelligence to develop data-driven recommendations.</li><li>Partner with business leaders to define the scope, goals and KPIs for transformation initiatives.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Change & Program Management</b></p><ul><li>Foster a culture of innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Manage the planning, execution and oversight of transformation programs.</li><li>Oversee program governance, reporting and timelines for change initiatives. Identify risks and issues, and help problem solve mitigation strategies.</li><li>Facilitate meetings to align on project goals, drive decision making and resolve conflicts.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Operational Excellence & Innovation</b></p><ul><li>Champion the integration of digital technologies and AI to enhance content delivery, audience engagement, and internal workflows.</li><li>Manage cross-functional efforts to optimize processes, reduce complexity, and improve performance across global operations.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Stakeholder Engagement</b></p><ul><li>Serve as a strategic thought partner to Transformation leaders and business leads on company-wide transformation initiatives and functional specific initiatives.</li><li>Communicate transformation goals, progress, and impact clearly and consistently across the organization.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Team Leadership & Development</b></p><ul><li>Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages accountability and continuous learning.</li><li>Collaborate with other team members within the Global Transformation team.  Develop and foster a strong team dynamic by role modelling good working relationships for junior team members.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:</b></p><ul><li>8+ years of experience in business transformation or strategy, ideally within media, entertainment, or technology sectors.</li><li>Proven success managing large-scale, cross-functional projects in dynamic, fast-paced environments.</li><li>Strategic Thinking: Exceptional strategic thinking and problem solving with the ability to develop long-term transformation plans that align with evolving industry trends.</li><li>Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills. Experience in gathering and analyzing data and developing actionable recommendations.</li><li>Change Management: Experience leading change management programs with a proven record of being a change agent and motivating the organization to embrace new ways of working.</li><li>Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex strategies to a diverse set of audiences.</li><li>Stakeholder Management: Experience managing a diverse set of stakeholders</li><li>Global Perspective: Experience working in international markets with an understanding of cultural, regulatory, and operational differences.</li></ul><p></p><p><span>On June 9, 2025, Warner Bros. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $192,570.00 - $357,630.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
