Overview

Responsibilities

  • Sweep, push and shovel trash from the Trading Floor preparing for evening events and the following workday.
  • Performs daily cleaning at assigned work areas at 11 Wall, 18 Broad Street.
  • Responds to special service calls or emergencies resulting from spillage, breakage, leakage, flooding, etc.
  • Removes snow or ice at, or in vicinity of, building entrances.
  • Fills dispensers with tissue, paper towels, soap, etc.
  • Maintains supply bins and storage room in neat and clean condition.
  • Sets up and arranges chairs, other pieces of furniture and special equipment required for all conference rooms and events rooms on the 6 th , 7 th and 17 th floors.
  • Performs the operation of the freight elevator for; deliveries or equipment, large volumes of content for client events or other bulky materials for all NYSE departments.
  • Strips and waxes tile, marble and terrazzo floors; cleans and polishes wooden and metallic surfaces; damp wipes all office accessories, empties waste baskets; washes walls, dusts high or hard to reach areas (i.e., draperies, blinds, light fixtures, radiator enclosures & ventilating louvers).
  • Packs waste material gathered from Trading Floor areas and places in appropriate pick-up point for collection by refuse vendor.
  • Vacuums carpet as required and sweeps, mops and disinfects lavatories and all tile areas.
  • Must be able to interact on a professional level with clients, executives, VIP's, etc.
  • Performs other job-related miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to work overtime.

Knowledge and Experience

  • High School or Equivalent diploma preferred.
  • Ability to move or lift heavy or bulky objects.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions.
  • Presentable appearance.
  • Ability to communicate/interface clearly with internal and external customers on a daily basis and to assist with navigating the Conference Center.
  • Minimum of six months of related experience.

Schedule

  • 3:30 pm to 12:00 midnight.
  • Hours may change based upon management discretion
  • There is a 15%-Night Differential for the evening shift.

New York Base Salary Range

The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is $53,177 - 67,109 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
