They are seeking an experienced Manager, Automation Systems to lead a team of Systems Engineers focused on automation and integration, while also managing strategic and tactical initiatives across the enterprise.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of business systems engineers focused on automation and integration.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and help define an automation roadmap that balances strategic initiatives with tactical needs.
  • Oversee architecture, design, and execution of workflows using integration/automation platforms.
  • Take a hands-on role in the design and development of complex automation workflows and integrations as needed.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on integration/automation platforms (e.g., Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft).
  • Ensure solutions follow best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Ensure best practices for documentation, testing, and change management are followed.
  • Drive adoption of automation solutions across the organization through effective communication and training.
  • Manage vendor relationships, licenses, and system administration responsibilities.

Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in business systems, automation, or enterprise applications, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical expertise with integration and automation/ AI platforms (e.g., Workato, MuleSoft, Glean, etc).
  • Hands-on experience delivering solutions across ERP, CRM, HRIS, or other SaaS business applications.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented, able to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines, and able to work in an efficient, quick, and organized manner.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience mentoring technical staff and fostering team development.
  • System certifications (Workato, Mulesoft, etc) is a plus.
  • Experience working in a scrum environment is a plus.
